Worldly Experiences For The Whole Family

Want to expose your family to a cultural experience this summer, but can’t or don’t want to incur the high cost of travel?  Consider hosting a foreign exchange student in your home and bring culture to you!

Spearhead Exchanges specializes in creating unique cultural exchange experiences for international high school students who come to Canada to develop their language skills, and experience our wonderful country.  Students come to learn and practice conversational English,  attendintg weekday classes and participating in a program of scheduled activities.  After “school” they return each evening to their “Canadian” families for dinner.  Weekends are free time  for the students to spend being part of the host family’s regular activities.

This year’s cultural exchange with 24 students arriving from Spain June 26 and departing on JULY 24th, 2012.  Spearhead exchanges is currently accepting applications from potential Host Families.

Hablas Espanol? (“do you speak spanish?”)  Don’t worry, you don’t have to or want to!… but before you know it you could be shouting “Adios mi amigo espanol” (Goodbye my spanish friend!)
